I'm currently sitting in the library working on my last programming project for the semester. Just now I happened to glance at the monitor of the guy sitting behind me. He's playing Warcraft 3. In the library. During the last week of classes.

I think he's just doing it to rub it in all of our faces that he can. The bastard.

Before you read this, go back to here and read the very first ranting, about the Chemistry professors. I found out today that Physics professors are the exact same way. They give us nice, easy homework problems then give an exam that just rips us a new one. I hate them so very much.

I've decided that the janitorial and maintenance staffs in our residence hall have a little conspiracy going. They use mystic voodoo powers to divine when exactly I'll want to take a shower, then they make sure to make it as difficult as possible. Seriously though, I just went to take a shower, and all five showers on my hall are out of order for maintenance, so I go to the showers on the west end of the dorm, and those are being cleaned. I mean, honestly, how hard is it for them to coordinate these things? Sheesh.

Well, just got back from my first chemistry exam. I've decided that my professor is diabolically evil in secret. Oh sure, he gives off that "meek scientist" aura, but deep down inside he takes pleasure from our pain. I thought it'd be a good idea, in studying for this exam, to look over the practice exams he posted on the course website. I swear, I wouldn't have been surprised if they asked us what the chemical formula of table salt is on the stupid thing; I could've passed that practice exam three years ago, easy. So I thought, "Heck, if the practice exam is this easy, the exam will probably be a piece of cake. I mean sure, the exam covers one more chapter than the practice exam, but how much of a difference will that really make?" Well, it obviously made a whole heck of a lot of a difference. Not that I had any troubles on the exam, mind you, but it definitely wasn't the cake walk I was anticipating. I'm telling you, that Professor Sharp is pure evil. He made that practice exam too easy on purpose: to get our hopes up! When he came into our testing room, I swear he had an evil little smirk on his face.

The moral of the story: never trust your professors. All they want is to see you fail.
